2013 Prudential Ride London—Surrey 100

Subscribe

On the 4th August this year, I will be taking on a cycling challenge like no other (!) through the closed roads of London and the Surrey Hills. It’s a modified version of the London 2012 Olympic Road Race, starting in the Olympic Park, which is pretty cool. The 100 miles however may not be so cool!

I am doing this to fundraise for the amazing charity, Mind. They are a mental health charity who offer support and advice whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. Every penny raised will help to make sure people with a mental health problem, no matter how mild or severe, have somewhere to turn. This could be someone dealing with anxiety, depression or bipolar finding the information and support they’ve been looking for.

Cycling is quite new to me and so far the most I’ve spent on my bike is about 2.5 hours, and trust me even that hurts your bum! This going to take me between 5-6 hours apparently. I would so appreciate it if you’d take the time to sponsor me and raise money for Mind. It will help my motivation and training too, that’s for sure! No amount is too little. Here’s my fundraising page for you to take action.

Thank you so much in advance of your support.
